Thank you for using our Yahoo Finance Data Visualization App. Please note the following important points:

How to Use YF Visual

YF Visual is a tool designed to help you access and visualize financial data effortlessly. Currently, it has two main menus, with plans for further development to include more features and menus in the future.

IDX Companies

This menu is specifically designed for companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).

Steps to Use:
  1. Open the IDX Companies menu.
  2. Enter the name of the company you want to search for (e.g., Bank Central Asia).
  3. Click the Submit button.
  4. The financial data and performance metrics of the company will be displayed visually.

All Yahoo Tickers

This menu is designed for searching data using ticker codes from Yahoo Finance.

Steps to Use:
  1. Open the All (YF Tickers) menu.
  2. Enter the ticker code as per Yahoo Finance (e.g., AAPL for Apple Inc. or TSLA for Tesla Inc.).
  3. Click the Submit button.
  4. The financial data, charts, and other relevant information will be displayed for the entered ticker.

Fundamental Data Availability

Currently, the app provides fundamental financial data for the past five years. If a data feed offering a longer historical range becomes available, we plan to integrate and enhance the application accordingly.

For now, if the five-year data range meets your needs, feel free to utilize the app.

Currency Compatibility

When analyzing financial reports where the financial currency is in USD but the stock price is quoted in a local currency (e.g., IDR), calculations for metrics such as EPS, P/E Ratio, and PBV may require further refinement. However, if the currency for both financial reports and stock prices is consistent (either entirely in USD or IDR), calculations should not pose any issues.

Data Discrepancies

If any discrepancies are found between the data retrieved from Yahoo Finance and the data provided by securities platforms, we will highlight and communicate such issues to ensure transparency. We are committed to improving the accuracy and reliability of this app and welcome your feedback for future updates.
